The Japanese car manufacturer Honda has unveiled today the 2014 Honda Civic Tourer. The new break will have its official debut this fall at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.

As you already know, earlier this year, Honda has unveiled a similar named concept that had previewed the production version of the Civic Tourer. On the outside we see the same equation used on the hatchback. On the front we see some angular, big headlights with LED technology, while in the back are the same wraparound taillights.

“At first glance it is clear that the Civic Tourer does not look like other Wagons. Recently-launched cars have tended to follow a similar style. The Civic Tourer has a different balance and appeal”, said Adrian Killham, Large Project Leader of Civic Tourer.

At a first glace you’ll see that the 2014 Honda Civic Tourer is a very attractive wagon. That’s because it doesn’t have that cliff where the roof meets the luggage compartment.

Speaking of luggage, the 2014 Honda Civic Tourer will be the best choice in its class. According to the Japanese officials it will have 624 liters when seats are up and 1.668 liters with rear bench folded. For an easy use, the new Civic wagon has Magic Seats that can fold down in one easy motion.

Under the hood, the new 2014 Honda Civic Tourer will be available with two engines, a diesel unit and a petrol one. For the diesel, Honda will offer the 1.6 liter i-DTEC engine with 120 horsepower and 300 Nm peek of torque. The petrol unit will be the 1.8 liter i-VTEC with 142 horsepower and 174 Nm peek of torque.

The 2014 Honda Civic Tourer will be built in the United Kingdom plant and the European sales will debut at the early 2014.
