The British car manufacturer Bentley will introduce at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show the brand new 2013 Bentley Continental GT V8 S. As you already know, the Continental GT V8 was launched in 2012 January at the NAIAS in Detroit.

Now, for those customers who want even more drama and excitement, the sharper, sporting edge of the new GT V8 S adds a new dimension to the Continental range.”

Under the hood of the Bentley Continental GT V8 is a twin-turbo eight cylinder 4.0 liter unit that can deliver 500 horsepower and 660 Nm peek of torque. After adding the “S” letter, the Continental GT V8 will offer 521 horsepower at 6.000 rpm and 680 Nm of torque at 1.700 rpm.

In these conditions, the coupe can sprint from stand still to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, 0.3 second faster than its brother. In the convertible version, the things are moving a little bit slower because the same acceleration is done in 4.7 seconds. The top speed for the coupe is clocked at 309 km/h, while the convertible hits 308 km/h.

Even though the 2013 Bentley Continental GT V8 S is coming with more power, the British officials are announcing that the fuel consumption is even better: 22.3 mpg US (26.8 mpg UK or 10.5 liters per 100 kilometers) for the coupe version and 25.9 mpg UK (21.5 mpg US or 10.9 liters per 100 km) for the convertible variant.

More than that, the 2013 Bentley Continental GT V8 S is featuring a 10 millimeter low ride height, updated dampers, a reworked stability control system and a new front and rear fascias.
