The Italian car manufacturer Lamborghini has been officially unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show the 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Squadra Corse. As you already know, this is the last special version of the Gallardo and it’s based on the Super Trofeo variant.

According to the Italian officials, the new car is designed to bring the fascination of motor racing to the street legal world. The new Gallardo Squadra Corse is coming with a lot of race car inspired accessories. We are talking about a big wing, a quick release engine hood, carbon ceramic brakes, racing wheels and others.

The new 2013 Gallardo Squadra Corse also features a lot of carbon fiber and aluminum elements. In these conditions, the Italian supercar has a weight of 1.340 kilograms, which is 70 kilos less than the base Gallardo LP560-4.

Just like the Lamborghini Gallardo Super Trofeo, the new 2013 Squadra Corse is hiding under the bonnet a V10 engine that is capable to develop 570 horsepower. The engine resources are put to the ground thanks to a six speed e-gear transmission and via an all wheel drive system. In these conditions, the 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Squadra Corse can sprint from stand still to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, while the run from not to 200 km/h is done in 10.4 seconds. The top speed announced by the car maker is clocked at 320 km/h.
