Sant’Agata, home of the Italian sports car manufacturer Lamborghini is one of the most interesting places for a car enthusiast. Besides the manufacturing facilities, the small village located in the northern part of Italy also has a Lamborghini museum, with arguably the coolest auto collection in the world. From now on, people who live far away from Bologna can visit the two levels of glassed-in floorspace virtually, with the help of Google Street View.

One can expect to see high-resolution photographs from iconic Lamborghinis like the Miura, Countach, Diablo and Murcielago. The museum also houses rarities like the Gallardo highway patrol car, the limited-production Sesto Elemento and Reventon, and prototypes like Estoque and Zagato Canto.

For some time, Lamborghini also produced engines for F1 cars, and these cars, like Nicola Larini’s 1991 Modena 291 are also to be found here. Viewers can also take a look at unique scale models of original styling taken from Lamborghini’s Centro Stile, along with some of the best known V12 powertrains.

Google Street View lets viewers to fully explore the cars from any angle, and there are is no visiting time, either. Moreover, some of the cars can be viewed from the inside – a possibility not available for those who visit the museum in person. The virtual tour is available on PC, tablet and mobile via te Google Map App, working with both iOS and Android operating systems.

This year Lamborghini celebrates 50 years of existence with the Lamborhini Veneno, produced in only three units and sold at the record price of 3 Million euro. Among other novelties there is the Lamborghini Squadra Corse, the fastest street-legal Gallardo ever produced. They also introduced the Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster, which, along with the coupe version, certainly has a place in the Lamborghini hall of fame.
